Still Life
Flowers by Ori Gersht
Today our photography students looked at the artist Ori Gersht who uses photography as a medium to create contemporary still life by capturing exploding flowers using a fast shutter speed.
We experimented with this experimental style of still life by setting up a mini studio using black sugar paper and an LED light. We used a glass of water and a pebble to drop in it to create a splash that we could capture by using a fast shutter speed.
